Katelyn’s Bio

Hello! My name is Katelyn and I am an experienced babysitter, caregiver, and teacher for both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. When people ask me how many years of experience I have with children, I say, “my entire life!” When I was 5, my single mom had my triplet sisters with only me by her side. I played a big part in raising them and spent a majority of my childhood and adolescence protecting and caring for them. My mom is also a Speech Language Pathologist and I’ve had the privilege to work alongside her since I was 15 as an ABA therapist and assistant teacher. I have about 6 years of experience working with individuals with special needs, specifically on the spectrum— ages 0-17. I’ve also had various daycare jobs throughout my early adulthood caring and providing for babies and children from ages 0-4.
I currently have my Associates Degree from Bergen Community College and am working on my Behavioral Neuroscience degree online with William Paterson University. I am also a full time preschool teacher but available weekdays after 5:30 and weekends at any time.
