I recently retired from a full time position as Life Enrichment Director at Sierra Place Senior Living in Carson City NV. I was in that position for almost 14 years. Currently I’m looking for part time work to utilize the experience and skills I obtained working with all levels of seniors. I especially enjoyed working with residents who cognitive impairment resulting from Alzheimer’s and related dementias. In my experience, they live in the present moment as the past fades and are very responsive to kind individual attention.
It has always been rewarding to me to create a fun and meaningful environment in which friendships can develop.
I’m looking to work approximately 16-20 hrs. per week.
