Maureen’s Bio
I am a 56 year old, very healthy retired veterinarian. I have nearly 25 years of veterinary experience. I have 3 children of my own. My oldest son is 29, married and speaks 5 languages. My daughter is 20 and is in college. My youngest son is 15 and is a freshman at Galena High School in Reno. My stepdaughter is 27 and her and her husband have 3 wonderful children of their own. Being a mother is great, but being a grandmother is grander! I am still 50% owner of a veterinary practice here in Reno Nevada, but I am more of a silent partner. I have CPR and first responder qualifications as well. I am writing a book about my experiences as a veterinarian and am looking for supplemental income. I think being a caretaker would enhance my life experiences thus contributing to my overall experience as a writer.
