I am a single mom. Working in home health is a diverse environment that takes a lot of courage and compassion. My experiences are working with the disabled and the elderly. Besides the companionship I provide, I also maintain my client's proper health condition. I assists the clients with perinatal care and grooming, meal preparation and feeding if necessary. I have to be always aware of their medical needs like being their medicine reminder. Through the registered nurse's approval/consent I have experienced in blood sugar monitoring and insulin injection, catheter care and insertion, bowel care, breathing treatments and other necessary medical equipment to operate. There is also light housekeeping involve like laundry, washing dishes, shopping, picking up scripts, calling the pharmacy and scheduling appointments for the client involved. I have CPR/First Aid Certification.
