I worked many years in a doctor's office and just loved dealing with the patients. I was told many times from patients that I had such a cheerful and professional demeanor that they enjoyed coming to the office. I also volunteered at the Lemberg Home for the Aged on 86th street and Bay Parkway. I believe it has changed names it was a number of years ago. I cared for the patients and helped to make their day a little bit better with enjoyable activities. I was sorry when I had to leave but I had gotten a job. For the last year I have helped to take care of a man who was very ill with prostate cancer. I helped his wife care for him including going to doctor's offices with them and picking up his prescriptions. i also took care of my mother before she died.
