Hello my name is Kadijah Tennon. I Have been I child care worker within a group home at an organization under the name SCO Family of Services with young adults who are Low Functioning/DD. I’ve held this position for a year and a half, I am currently still employed there. My duties include but aren’t limited to assisting my kids with everyday morning tasks, preparing them for school and allowing them the ability to help themselves as I give guidance. I attend to their personal needs and wants via meals and hygiene, I’m also responsible for administering their medication and have fully been trained in this area. I’m very artistic and health/fitness focused so I enjoy doing fun activities with my kids to highlight their abilities and allow them to enjoy themselves while expressing who they are. I genuinely love what I do I’ve found peace, patience while embracing what it is to be an empath as well as fully understanding and learning those that come from different mental structures and walks of life. I love children and nothing is more rewarding than helping those in need.
