A majority of my experience comes from caring for my own father as he ages; I have been caring for him for over two years now, since he was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. He has many other health problems too like osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, sleep apnea, etc. I have experience with showering/bathing, assistance with dressing and daily grooming, meal preparation, meal planning, following an exercise routine with my client, etc.
I have worked at two related agencies also, Touching Hearts at Home and W. N. Y. In-Home Care & Senior Services. I have experience with Dementia patients, Alzheimer's patients, immobile clients, etc.
I love working with the elderly and caring for them because they always have the most interesting stories from the past. I really enjoy socializing, playing games, going on walks together, and more. I look forward to meeting with you!
