My name is Ashley Payton. I am 22 years old and I am almost finished with my Bachelor of Social Work, ( I graduate in December). As I finish with my last semester this Fall with online courses, I will be moving to NYC with 3 other girls. I am currently the Assistant Lifestyle Director at an Assisted Living Home. I plan activities for the residents, facilitate them, and overall just get to know the residents. Being someone that they can TALK with.

I love working with the elderly because they are so wise. I love to learn and I love to listen to old stories. It helps that my favorite kind of music is jazz, such as Nat King Cole. I am also very passionate about the elderly population being treated with respect and gentleness.
