Timna M. Care Companion in New York, NY 10065

Timna McDoom has provided nanny services for me over the past year and a half. During this time, she has demonstrated excellent judgement while caring for my children relating to their safety and general care. She has been dependable, trustworthy, and become a very important member of our family. She has a lovely disposition, good sense of humor and is always very calm with the children.

She has cared for my 3 year old daughter and 18 month old son. She was an integral part of my daughter being getting potty trained and teaching both kids good habits.

Timna is a very hard worker. Her duties included preparing meals for the children, feeding them, changing bed linens, laundry and preparing meals for the children.

She will be an asset to any family. We will truly miss her!

Excellent Nanny specializing in infant care.

Timna started with us when our son was 6 weeks old and immediately her infant experience proved itself. She naturally soothed him, gave him baths and swaddled him and she was able to quickly get him onto a nap sleep schedule which has contributed to Theo being a healthy and happy baby. When he got a bit older and needed to learn to sleep on his own without being rocked Timna was able to transition Theo to fall asleep on his own in his crib.
When Theo started solid foods, Timna immediately started finding recipes and cooking fresh foods to puree for him so the freezer is always stocked with cubes for him to have.
Timna is a voracious reader and has passed on her love of books to our son during their frequent trips to the library for new books for him to enjoy. She also sings to him, takes him to music class, activity play dates, and daily stroller walks in the park and for playtime at the playground. She meets us at the Doctor’s office with him for our appointments and carries him around in the carrier for errands in the neighborhood as if he was her own.
Our household runs smoothly because of her, she always leaves the kitchen in better shape than she finds it in the morning, does the baby’s laundry and keeps our home tidy.
Timna is always happy, she likes having fun and a good laugh with us and she is dedicated, professional and prompt. In addition to caring for Theo every day she has put herself through a master’s program at night and is active in her community every weekend. Her work ethic is remarkable. We can count her to be here for us and Theo whenever needed, we have taken her with us on vacation and could not recommend her more.
Theo is very much attached to Timna and anticipates her arrival in the morning. They have formed a loving bond and in leaving him in her care every day we are confident she provides the same love and attention to him that we would.
We will sorely miss having her around when we relocate abroad later this summer.
