Hello!

My name is Sowmya and I recently graduated with an Masters in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I currently work part-time as a Graduate Fellow for the Association for Trauma Outreach and Prevention MeaningfulWorld at the United Nations. Prior to that, I spent 25 beautiful years taking care of my beautiful grandmother. She was the brightest star of my life, my wonderful, loving angel. I miss her very much and miss caring for her. Now that I have graduated, and with spare time in my hands, I would like to do what I love i.e. spend time with, and be a positive care companion as I was in my grandma's life. I am a friendly, approachable, loyal, loving, and compassionate person.

In the 25 years that my grandma was in my life and during her last days, I was her primary care companion. I fed her, bathe her, took her to the doc for routine checks, gave her medicines on time, and had positive, meaningful, and fun conversations with her. With my background in Psychology, and personal experience, I can be a devoted, loving and compassionate care companion.
