Hello =) My name is Jessica and I am a 33yr old wife and mother of two (6 and 2yrs).. I have experience being a caregiver..my younger sister was born with Cerebral Palsy when I was nine and have been helping care for her for 23 yrs.. Also, my mother became very ill and weak because going in kidney dialysis..so I helped care for her until she passed almost 4yrs ago.. Since my mother passed my family decided it would be better for my younger sister to move into a residential care setting which we are very involved in. Two years ago I started working for Schoharie County ARC as a Direct Support Professional. I work in the residential and dayhab settings. I currently am certified in CPR and first Aide. Have experience with food preparation (Cooking also puree-ing or making food ground). Also am certified to work under the nurse with the distribution of medication. I meet all driver eligibility requirements and also knowledge with doctors appointments.
