Being a caregiver is not exactly my career, but something I do take very seriously and with great passion. My father has been sick on many occasions and my first priority was to be there for him as well as spend as much time with him so that he was aware his presence was appreciated and highly valued. I’ve met many families within the past few years, all of which had a grandma or elderly family member who they were either going to put into a home or were looking for a companion. I was able to spend time with such incredible people, of which have made the experience for me that much greater. I love spending time with the companion and share laughs, memorable stories and moments as well as attend to their needs. It not only brings joy to my heart, but I feel that it makes a difference and allows for the individual to feel loved and appreciated. All our loved ones deserve companionship.
