I have assisted in caring for my sick grandmother and disabled grandfather for the past 6 years. I've had experience occasionally volunteering in nursing homes. I've also had experience as an overnight summer camp counselor for ages 8 - 16 for the past 4 years. I will be living in an apartment on the Upper West Side after graduating from college in May, and have a very flexible schedule. I love to cook, and I am extremely organized, responsible, clean, dependable, and compassionate. I understand the difficulties that come with caring for the elderly, or for someone with a disability, and I am prepared. I can be as available for them as they need.
