I have been a companion on and off for 20 years.I worked with an agency for a while so I've had the training classes.I find being a companion takes mostly common sense.I drive to Dr's appts,do the food shopping or just walk in the park.Whatever the needs are.I have worked with dementia clients all the way to a lady in a coma..I don't mind traveling.
