I chose Health care as a career because ,I enjoy spending time with the elderly . I have worked in home health care for twelve years now and have had several long term clients in that time. I think that good communication is very important part of providing the best care and making sure that everyone's expectations are met. I have had Certified Nursing Assistant training which is very useful in my job.I can make Doctors appointments, and drive my clients to the appointments.When necessary or if family wishes I can administer medications,change colostomy bags and urinary drainage bags. I can provide critical care positioning, feeding and personal hygiene. I can administer all the basic care for men and women. My hobby is cooking which I love bringing to my jod . Often, as people of age, they have difficult to please there appetite. I enjoy preparing food that tempts them into eating even if I need to make additional dishes. I do housekeeping chores, laundry,vacuuming, grocery shopping and shoveling snow. I can do basic household maintenance like changing light bulbs using screwdriver to tighten and loosen connections.
