I helped my Mother and Father take care of my aging grandparents for many years. It was an honor and the most rewarding experience. My love and compassion for taking care of them gave me the gift of patience, sensitivity, and an intuitiveness connection to their needs.
This experience was priceless. Now I'm entering this journey with my own Mother, thankfully sharing it along the way with my own family.
Not all families have the support they need, and through my own personal experience would love to help other families through the similar journey. It's beautiful and bitter sweet all at the same time.
I am a 16 year veteran educator who taught Elementary School Library classes. I took a leap of faith in this rewarding but ever changing field and became part of the Onondaga County Public Library System. I am a part time Children's Librarian and I couldn't be any more happier.
On my days when I'm not at the library I would love to spend my time helping families to meet their loved one's needs whether it be running errands, going to doctors appointments or just like being one of the family going out and doing fun activities. I'd be happy to prepare light meals and do light house work that needs to get done.
