I have been a secondary school teacher for 27 years. I have a Masters degree in Education, licensed in NYC and NY State. I made a decision over the summer to take a break from the classroom. So, I am looking for work now.

My experience with elderly care comes from many evenings with my Aunt Dolores. She was in need of company after her husband passed. I helped her by preparing meals and doing light cleaning and by providing a listening ear....For the last year of her life. - I visited her regularly in a nursing home. I also have helped out with my sister's father-in-law, Bill and my former landlord Stella. I have been told I have a lot of patience and good people skills. I look forward to a weekend long or week long opportunity to show the warmth and care that I can provide to your loved one. Thanks.
