I am a caregiver by nature, and enjoy every minute of it! For the past five years I have been working as certified professional nanny and newborn care specialist with fifteen years in total of childcare experience.
Before that, I worked as a caregiver at an assisted living facility for people with alzheimer’s and dementia. I took care of the residents by assisting with everything from serving meals, toileting, changing, bathing, tidying rooms, washing laundry and linens, to even just a hug! I was aslo a ceritified medication aide. Throughout my time at the facility, I cared for residents with walkers, wheel chairs, oxygen tanks, colostomy bags, incontinence, diabetes, and various other health issues or hinderances.
I also cared for my grandparents throughout the years when they needed a little extra help.
