I posted a last minute job on a Sunday evening for "before-school care" the very next morning for my 5 & 7 year old. Aby responded promptly to my ad, was extremely pleasant on the telephone, and showed great flexibility and even greater compassion for my rather dire childcare situation when she agreed to my extremely early start time the following morning.... which, I should add, also coincided with the first winter snowstorm of the year! (lucky for me, she was raised in upstate NY so she is comfortable with winter weather and a very safe driver!) Aby showed up right on time, was extremely professional & friendly... and she asked all the questions that a new sitter should ask. Due to a weather-related school closing, she ended up taking care of my kids all morning instead of merely getting them ready for school and putting them on the bus. I was beyond grateful for her flexibility and willingness to stay ... and my kids could not have been happier! Aby kept in touch with me perfectly while I was at work, and was obviously extremely focused on caring for my children and keeping them engaged and happy. My kids told me later how much fun Aby was - they loved that she played outside in the snow with them - and they declared her to be their favorite babysitter in Cincinnati! I would highly recommend Aby to anyone, and I will be forever grateful for her help... and I hope we can have her back over soon! :)
