Hi! I am an experienced parent and teacher. My children are 20, 18, and 14. I taught 5th grade for 23 years, and I am currently finishing up my 3rd year of teaching 4th grade. I received my B.S. of Education at UC, and my Master's of Eduction at Xavier University. I am a permanently certified teacher in Ohio. As a teacher, I have been trained in all areas of safety, and I am required to take online courses each year to stay up-to-date.
You can count on me to keep your child busy and safe, and if you would like some summer tutoring for your child, we can negotiate that into my hourly rate. I have taught all subjects--right now I teach Math and Social Studies.
I have spent my last 4 summers babysitting--but the kids I watched are going into high school, and that's why I'm looking for a new job.
I am a Christian person. I attend church regularly, and try to follow Christ each day in what I do and say.
I am extremely healthy, and I try to stay in shape!!
I would like to watch a child who is polite, respectful, and kind.
I would love to have the option of watching your child at my house, too! I have a big yard, a pond, (great for paddle boat rides), 3 dogs, (outside), 4 cats, (outside), and an area to play basketball.
