Alyssa’s Bio
I am currently a nursing student going for her Bachelor's degree at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Columbus, OH. I graduate spring of 2018. I have worked in senior living communities and have had experience with daily needs such as bathing, clothing, meal prep and assistance with eating, transportation and ambulation, medication reminders, responding to emergency situations and simply just spending time listening and talking with the elderly. My grandma and my mom also have Lupus and I have had experience with helping take care of them for a while now and driving them to doctor's appointments. I am very organized and detail-oriented. Aside from completing care duties, I also enjoy spending time talking and learning from the those I am caring for. I am very empathetic and caring and adaptable to the different ways that other's prefer doing things. I also have experience with people who have dementia and Alzheimers.
