I am a 46 year old male. I have experience in helping the elderly due to my father suffering a stroke five years ago. I was fortunate enough to move home and care for my father. I showered, fed, and transported my dad to his appointments. My father recovered well from his stroke, but a year later was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away. This experience in helping my father has led to my decision to enroll in LPN school in the fall 2017. I feel it is my calling to help those who need it most.
