Melanie’s Bio

I am a Pediatric Nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital with experience in Oncology (cancer) and other acute illnesses. I have taken care of children from birth to twenty years of age, so I am comfortable with any age. I also have an older sister with lung issuesn (Cystic Fibrosis) so from a young age I have been a caregiver.

I have been babysitting since high school, and I also did it throughout college. Also in college I was a Patient Care Assistant, working with adults on a cardiac care unit and also working with some hospice patients.

Now I'm a nurse and I work night shift, so my schedule is pretty flexible so I can work with just about anything. Currently I'm looking for part- time, as needed work.

In college I was also a chemistry tutor so I am comfortable helping out with homework. I am also a high school youth group leader so I love interacting with kids, even outside of the hospital setting.
