I atteneded and passed a course that was offered through my high school called the “Med-Tech” program which helps students learn the basics of nursing and prepare to become an STNA. I had to finish my military training right after I graduated high school therefor I didn’t apply to get my STNA but I still know the basics. I also was a home health aid for a family friend who was 92 years old. I would visit him every other day for a minimum of 2 hours and took care of light housekeeping as well as preparing meals and also just simply conversating with him.
