I became a caregiver because I’ve always liked taking care of people I always knew that I wanted to be in this field since the third grade. When they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up I said I wanted to be a nurse. I’ve been a STNA for eight years. I’m currently enrolled at Lakelancc for nursing. What makes me great is understanding that I do not know everything, that everyone is different, my experience as a caregiver will not always be the same, but I have a tremendous amount of patience and I believe that that is key.
