I have cared for patients in clinical and in-home settings with my STNA certification. I really enjoy this, and I hope to one day work as an occupational therapist. I can perform all of the following skills and more upon request: CPR, first aid, vital signs (blood pressure, body temperature, pulse, respiration), measuring output from a urinary drainage bag, applying an adult brief, changing an occupied bed, perineal care, catheter care, ambulation with a gait belt, ambulation with a walker to a wheelchair, feeding, dental care, dental care with dentures, toileting with a bed pan, hand and nail care, foot care, transferring to a wheelchair, weighing, change of position in bed, abdominal thrust, partial bed bath, dressing with weak arm, applying elastic support stockings, body positioning, and range of motion exercises. I find delight in accompanying and assisting those in need. I also love playing board games and cards, and doing puzzles!
