I was a caregiver to my Mom for thirteen years. She had heart disease, kidney disease, close to 30 heart failures, cellulitis infections where my brother and I changed wound dressings, administered her insulin shots, bathed her in the the bed and bathroom, dressed her and took her to doctor appointments.We made several trips to emergency as you can imagine. She had a triple bypass, amputation of toes, and a leg bypass. I made her meals and kept her on a diabetic diet. My Mom had oxygen in the house. We would take her vitals frequently. She had dementia towards the end of her life and we had to deal with that. Took her for rides in the car and took her for rides in her wheelchair and walked her down the street and drove her to the hair salon to get her hair cut. I learned a lot about heart and diabetes through her amazing doctors. In my professional profession I have over twenty years of Customer Service experience. I am a licensed Notary Public. I love children and good with them as I have four grandchildren. I have a passion working with people of all ages. I am currently looking into being certified in CPR as I was certified a long time ago at a previous company. Personally we just adopted a Siberian Husky dog at just 6 1/2 weeks old and we named her Sheba. Now she is a year old. I am married but have no children of my own.
