I just moved to Ohio about 1.5 years ago to be with my new husband. I have run a small consulting business for 25+ years and recall that finding good care for my children was the hardest job I have ever done. I still work part time on my consulting work, yet since moving to Ohio I don't have the satisfaction I had in my past life doing volunteer and companion work.

In May of 2012 I had an accident and couldn't do my regular job. I spent about 9 months helping care for a severely autistic young boy. Again, the work was much harder than my normal job, but I knew how much my efforts impacted the family I was working with. That's what brought me to this site... the need to help families with the challenges that are a part of finding quality, loving care for their loved ones, whether old or young.

Last year my mom passed away after five years of being bed-ridden. My sister was her primary care giver, but I supported however I could while working full time. I saw first hand the difference between care givers who actually CARED and those who were along for the paycheck. It pains me to know how families can't find great care for their loved ones.

I have raised two children on my own as a single mom and I get the "drill". I am responsible, caring, compassionate, and trustworthy. If you'd like to know more about me, please ask.
