Lindsey’s Bio
I have previously worked at a camp for individuals with developmental disabilities and was a camp counselor to over 40 individuals with all different levels of special needs including physical and behavioral. During 11 session summer camp I was assigned individuals with severe behavior problems as well as severe physical disabilities. I do not have certified training in handling behavior situations, yet, this experience gave me great insight into helping N overcome difficult behavior issues while also helping them foster a love for camp life. Because of my experience at this camp, I know how to handle different behavioral issues associated with children as well as handling any physical disabilities. Being the care provide/counselor/friend to over 40 individuals helped train me in responsibility, and managing the child's time as well as group time.
