The last 2.5 years I have transported people to medical appointments--young and old 35 to 40 hours a week. Spent 2 years taking them in wheelchairs. I have made sure they are safe and secure. I enjoy people and most importantly want to make sure their needs are being met first.
I spent my teenage-young adult life babysitting my nieces and nephews---sometimes days at a time. Been around lots of children over the years, being I am from a large family. Recently I have been aiding my older siblings, being I am youngest of 14 children. Dementia is running in my family, so help out by assisting them physically, emotionally and taking care of one's finances for them.
I am at a point in my life of transitioning from full time work of 44 years to part time work. And in working part time I may help out my niece with her 1.5 yr old and 1 due May 9th.
Telephone Company 30.5 years, Answering Service Operator 2.5 yrs, Courier 5.5 years, Owner of Staffing Agency 3 yrs, Medical Transportation Driver 2.5 yrs. And I took a second job in 2012 helping out a friend--taking care of her sister with dementia in evenings for 1 month. I have CPR certification.
