I have worked in assisted living facility, memory care, skilled nursing and in home care for the past year and a half. I have learned how to multitask, work in a fast-paced business, and accomplish my assigned tasks in an organized and timely manner. I have done my clinical at Provence Medical Center for my CNA 2 license at PCC Institute for Health Professionals. I was able to work alongside a CNA on the 5K, 4R, and 7th Floor at the hospital. I practiced my skills and had hands on expirence with patients. I aspire to continue my passion of care to become an RN so that I may continue to care for others and my own family.

My resident's and or client's level of care varied with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive disability, and autism. I assisted clients with daily activities, reminders, dining services and hygiene upkeep. Able to perform transfers through the use of a hoyer lift. I have observe residents for signs of deterioration or concern and report to med aid on shift accordingly. I have a professional personality with residents and their families. I am able to work under pressure utilizing my caregiver and certified nursing skills. I was also able to become a med aide for a short period of time where I monitor patients' vital signs, administered medication at schedule times, received deliveries from pharmacy and checked for accuracy. Efficiently communicated with nurses to inform of all refusals, changes, and discontinuations of medication.
