I was the executive director of a senior retirement community as well as a weekend supervisor at an inhome senior care agency. I worked directly with residents and the seniors occasionally providing care and medical assistance. Also, back in St. Louis, where I am from, I did full care of a 90 year old woman for 2 years prior to her passing. I enjoy working with seniors and due to my positions, I was required to attend specialized classes to deal with dementia, care of elderly as well as legal issues such as elder abuse, protecting seniors, etc.
I enjoy working with seniors and am still in contact with many of the seniors still residing at my former position as well as constantly running into them locally at the malls, grocery stores, etc....
I am open to companionship care, light housework, dementia/Alzheimers, transportation to/from medical appointments, etc.
