I am currently employed as a caregiver at Home Instead Senior Care as of 12-1-15. I assist the elderly seniors complete there everyday tasks by motivating and encouraging them to do what they feel like they can't do anymore. I have 6 months in experience as a caregiver. My duties are as followed: Bathing, dressing, skin care, combing/grooming, feeding, meal preparation, med reminders, ambulation transfers, balancing/transferring clients safely, light house work, laundry. I love my job and enjoy every minute of it by knowing that as a caregiver I am able to keep elderly seniors content and comfortable in the comfort and environment in there homes. I enjoy doing my tasks and would do anything for my clients. I truly believe that us caregivers play an important part in our clients lives even as just a companionship.
