I am applying for a companion care position because It brings a smile to my face and to my clients. My first experience was with my grandmother who resided in West Philadelphia. As she grew older and her health declined, I provided an abundance of love, care, laughs, household chores, cleaning, cooking, baking, errands, positive conversation, and encouragement. My background is in education and administration, however; those skills allow me to be a great companion care. I have always been a people person as well as a kind and caring person. Currently, I work part time as a companion care giver with Senior Helpers. It's very rewarding and I enjoy the home environment with my wonderful 87 year old client. I am available to provide companion care for one more Golden Senior. Senior Helpers specializes with providing training in dementia and Alzheimer's.
