Carolyn L. Care Companion in Asheboro, NC 27205

Hi my name is Carolyn! I not only love taking care of children but I love to be company to the elderly! I have loved going to my grandparents when I was a young child. It always has fascinated me to hear their stories of when they were growing up. I have experience in a live in situation with my husband and 2-year-old daughter in 2011. The couple that we stayed with were 88 n 98 years old. She had Alzheimer; I was responsible to feed her, give her baths, make sure she had her medications. Since 2008 we had a elderly neighbor that I went over very often to just be company to her. All we did was sit in the living room and watched her soap operas... and I did not mind at all. It was fun! October 2016 we moved up from North Carolina to live beside my husband's dad. We both have respect for the elders. We are "old school," not with the times of this age, so I guess that is why we enjoy being with the elders and get along so well with them.
My husband does handyman work as well. He enjoys mowing the lawn and doing things that is needed. He is a very laid back, easy going kind of person!
I am wanting to make life easier for the elders; run errands, do light house work, give baths if needed, make a meal, make sure they take medication, or just be a company/ lend a listening ear! Whatever is needed, I'll do my very best to get it done with pleasure!
Right now, I am looking for a evening time position between 5:30 PM - whenever needed! My husband is available day time { WHENEVER is needed}
