I have been a caregiver/companion for the past 15 years. I was raised by my grandparents so I can relate to the elderly extremely well. I was also a senior aide volunteer at a Community Senior Center for about 12 years. I have done private duty for 10 years. I am independent and not with a company. I just love what I do. It is not a job but an honor to be caring for the elderly. I have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia people for my specialty. I am very flexible with my time and I understand the importance of making a client feel loved and wanted and needed. I also care for younger people with many different kinds of disabilities. I also have ALL my clearances and excellent references to justify my work. I hope to be called soon. I also have taken people to doctor appointments and the grocery store if needed.
