Aubrey’s Bio
I have always enjoyed helping people my grandfather has dementia and I've helped take care of him. I have worked with the intellectually disabled population for 4 years now. I started in a group home of 6 gentlemen. They all had special needs behavior plans, Down's syndrome, and dementia. I then worked with an elderly lady one on one in her home whom had Down's syndrome. I enjoy working with them because I love to help make their life as fulfilling as possible. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I have been trained on how to manage behaviors with the least contact as possible. I am also trained on bloodborne pathogens and needlestick prevention. I am a medication technician. I like to focus on making decisions as a team looking out for the best interest of the one being provided with services.
