Amy’s Bio
I hold a very special place in my heart for dogs, children and the elderly. I truly enjoy caring for all of them. Growing up, my family always had at least two dogs in our home. I always loved playing all day with and caring for them.
As for children, there’s always been in my life. My husband and I do not have our own, however between us, we have lots of nephews and nieces. I’ve worked in church nurseries since I was a teenager and still now. Three of my nieces and nephew I took a hand in raising them due to a bad home environment. They are all in their twenties now but I’d still do anything for them.
My heart loves the elderly. I often visit my only remaining grandparent at the nursing home, chat, watch his programs, play games, help him eat, etc. A few years ago I would assist numerous elderly folks at my church with running errands for and with them.
I want to get back to a caregiver job position as I do miss it and the fullfillment it gives me. Plus I understand how helpful it is to those I care for, whether it’s the child’s parents, the puppy owner’s mom or dad, or the elderly person themselves.
