Katherine’s Bio
Kat is looking to be an routine drop-in caregiver or part time companion in the Philadelphia area. Kat has been working with autistic and disabled children and adults for several years. She is sensitive to the needs and variant communicaion styles of this population and is happy to learn & accomodate to this as much as possible. She is comfortable with pets of all kinds and is happy to do laundry, cleaning, and cooking, as needed.
Kat has all of the needed clearances to work with children or adults of any age. She currently works part time as therapeutic support staff in schools, working with special needs children. She received her BA in Integrative arts from Penn State University, with a focus on early child development. She went on to complete a year at Naropa University, studying compassion-based therapy and mindfulness practices.
