My name is Nacisha Only and I'm a care giver with certified nursing experience. I have worked in medical facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities and private home duty as a CNA. This began when I turned 18 years old I began assisting my grandmother with her private duty nursing patients, helping with cooking, cleaning, errands and companionship with elderly cliental/patients. In my 20's I obtained my certification as a CNA and worked private duty out of patient homes as well as nursing homes and rehab facilities. Also worked in social services since 2003 starting out in group homes for the developmentally disable adult and youth populations. In the group homes cooking, cleaning, outings, hygiene, laundry, medication and all daily living was performed. And later as an Assistant Case Worker for the state of New Jersey as a government worker in the agency of Division of Youth & Family Services (DYFS) for 5 years. The state job gave me an even greater awareness of ensuring the safety and well being of children and has helped me become a greater advocate in the same respect for adult, elderly and disabled community. It has heightened my sensitivity to helping those without a voice or those with difficulty expressing themselves to receive the best utmost respectable care that any human being would want to receive. Being a mother has allowed me to be one that nurtures others; with the ability to show compassion and empathy for others from all walks of life. Everyone that knows me accredits me as being persistent , confident, trustworthy, honest, dependable, fun, witty, lovable and a God fearing person. I'm known for treating others the way I want to be treated and though I can be direct I'm non confrontational and like to talk things out to keep down confusion. I am also the person people seek out when undisciplined children or even aggressive adults proves difficult for others to care for due to my talent of getting others to listen and perform tasks. I have witnessed children and adults change or mature for the better while under my direct care.
