I am a mom of 2 grown children and enjoy working with seniors. I was taking care of a elderly gentlemen who was a stroke victim and was with him for 2 years before he was placed in assisted living. I enjoyed working closely with him and his family. I would take him to his appointments,shopping,help dress, shave,brush teeth, make small meals and sit with him while he ate. Lite cleaning, laundry swimming. whatever was needed of me I did for him.. It was a rewarding job and I treated him like I would want my own elderly mom treated. I also made sure to stay close in touch with his family members thur calls and email and texting on a daily base so they knew there father was ok...
