To be honest I don't have that much experience as a care companion but I have lived with my friends mother who suffers from Bipolar and depression. I always took her to the store, sat and talked with her, took walks and cleaned her place. It always felt so rewarding to help out in any way I could.
I miss making a difference in someone's life in that way. I'd love to be able to do that again.
