I come from a large family and was oldest of 4 girls. We were raised to take care of each other and others and that way of thinking has always stuck with me.
I cared for my dying Grandmother in her last month of bone cancer. I wouldn't trade that time with her for the world. I bathed her, medicated her, changed her linens daily and gowns to make sure she was cool and comfortable. Dealt with the nurses and doctors to make sure she was as comfortable as she could be during this time.
I enjoy hearing stories abd telling stories, playing cards and other fun games, love animals, enjoy cooking and I am fluent in Spanish, as well.
