I studied Direct Support Professional at CCRI, and as part of the program I worked 90 hrs in a group home with four wonderful individuals with developmental disability. This experience definitely changed my life and found that this is one of the most rewarding profession that exist because it gives you the opportunity to provide care to elderly people and treat them with the dignity and respect that they deserve.
