William’s Bio
One of my great joys in life is giving back or giving to other people. Love, support, and care. I grew up in a small town in South Carolina, and that mentality really shapes my life and how I approach wherever I am. I have lived in the Czech Republic, in a city in Virginia, and in Scotland, but wherever I am, I always treat the people around me as neighbors and as friends and as people to love. When my grandmother was passing away, she confided in me a lot, and I became more or less her caregiver in her last few months. I briefly studied theology at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and one of the topics I studied under the umbrella of theology was care, particularly for the elderly. In Virginia as I became involved in my church, I gravitated towards those ministries which helped the elderly. I really take to heart the small town notion that you are supposed to look after your elders.
