My most recent position was with a elderly couple in which the gentleman had alhzeimers, dementia and ptsd from past war experiences. Not only did I care for them as in cleaning, cooking, bathing, feeding and nurturing. I also was a companion to them. Always looked forward to seeing them knowing that when I walked through the door, they were so happy. I would sit and talk with them for hours and listen to their stories. I felt like that I was the one to make them comfortable and happy.
