I have been a caregiver since I was young taking care of children. I have babysat for many ages. Although, after about age 5 the term is used loosely! I have been a nanny/ au pair for 2 children, being on call 24-7. I have cared for the elderly while being a nanny within the same household. I have taken care of children mentally or physically challenged.
I have a college degree in Home Economics ( Family & Consumer Sciences). Within this area of study, emphasis is on nutrition, early childhood education, home finances & budgeting, as well as the organization of family, home, activities and schedules.
I delight in being helpful in making someone's life less hectic, more time efficient while creating peace of mind knowing I am taking care of their loved one(s).
I am very creative and artistic. I enjoy music of all genres. I am active - working out in the gym, hiking, biking, yoga - really whatever gets the blood flowing! I am married and have two daughters in their twenties. I was blessed to be able to stay at home while the girls were in grade school. I have been a substitute teacher for grades pre-K through 12th. I also assisted in the learning lab for students having difficulty within a variety of subject matters.
