Kristen’s Bio
I got my first experience care giving with my father in law. He was in ICU for 5 months due to a complication with open heart surgery. He lost all independent function and my husband and I moved in to keep him out of a nursing home. This took place in 2012. I bathed, changed diapers, spoon fed him. I did what ever was necessary to make sure he had everything he needed. I took excellent care of his skin, bed sores were never an issue.
I also helped take care of both of my grandmothers when needed from Dr. appointments to housework and meal prep. I am a natural caregiver. I feel like God blessed me with the gift of caring for others.
I go above and beyond to provide care. I have rolled up my pants and gone into the shower with clients when equipment was not available to make sure they got a thorough shower. I have laid beside a client in bed that couldn't sleep alone and would wander if she was. I treat people like family. I believe in providing excellent, complete and compassionate care.
