Hawley A. Care Companion in Greer, SC 29650

I am a college student who is passionate about teaching and special needs. I spent 4 years at Eastside High School actively involved in the learning disabilities classrooms and worked individually with students who had various disabilities including autism, down syndrome, and much more. I have much experience working with children and adolescents through my college teaching major experiences and through working summer soccer camps. I have extensive experience working with individuals with autism because my younger cousin was diagnosed with autism and that is where my passion for helping those with disabilities stems from. I volunteer at Special Olympics and Night to Shine annually and love nothing more than impacting the lives of those with special needs. I am pursuing a degree in Middle Grades Education and a minor in Special Education because these areas of interest are so close to my heart and I would love to gain more experience working as a care companion for individuals with special needs.
