I am a high energy and caring person. I am looking to gain experience as a care companion. I used to volunteer with activity coordinators at a nursing home, delivering mail, chatting, and doing small projects or little activities. My grandmother had dementia and Alzheimer, and my significant other's grandfather also had dementia. Though sometimes I understand that there is not much we can do, I am very supportive and positive and am willing to do all that I can and then some for a person. Quality of life is extremely important to me and I hope that I can help improve a person's quality life, even if only for a short time or with a small impact.
